Another planet

Lately I’ve been exploring the expressive possibilities of thin plastic influenced by Vilde J. Rolfsen (plastic bag landscapes), Baptiste Debombourg (specially his 'Aerial' project, made with plastic and glue), Yao Lu (garbage landscapes) and Max Streicher (inflatable artworks). Plastic it’s a quite gratifying material to work on: so flexible that it can be quickly re-shaped to almost anything, over and over again. And so abundant and cheap, that it can even be picked from natural places where it doesn’t belong, cleaning the area and giving the plastic an artistic afterlife at the same time.

Here you have my next step on this material: colour!

This project is taking me to an artistic residence in Kristiansand (Norway), within CreArt Program.

Yay!!
